The Central European reference sites in Stuttgart and Freiburg are characterised by moderate temperatures, humidity, UV-radiation as well as snow and wind loads. The exposition at both sites is done simultaneously and redundantly. By comparing the measurement results, errors due to the measurement technique or different properties of the collectors, due to variations in their production, can be revealed.
